A Zoo and Forestry Station

Under a 25 year contract with the Ministry of the Environment, Water, and Forests, the MFG manages the Ivoloina* Forestry Station and Zoological Park.

Located just north of Tamatave, Parc Ivoloina - as it is more commonly known - welcomes tourists and locals alike to see the endangered creatures of the island including endangered lemurs and radiated tortoises.

Its 332 hectares (820 acres) also contain a variety of other programs benefitting the people and lands of Madagascar.

See much more at the Ivoloina tourist website.

*Ivoloina is pronounced eev'-uh-lah-ween.
