and Your Group Can Make a Difference!
Is your group interested in helping international conservation?
Don't know how to help? The MFG can make it happen. Because of
the high value of the US dollar, even relatively small amounts
of money can make a world of difference. Everything from new boots
and tents for staff to radio collars for lemurs can be made possible
by you and your friends. So if raising a hundred dollars or a
few thousand through bake sales, charity dinner parties, car washes,
or "pennies for prosimians" drives sounds like something
you can do, you can help the conservation of critically endangered
plants and animals thousands of miles away.
And
here is something not many groups can say -- over 99% of the donations
are spent directly in Madagascar*. This
is possible because the St. Louis Zoo, where the MFG is headquartered,
provides office and operational support.

General
Funds
You can raise money to go into the general fund that helps pay
for the salaries of the conservation agents in Madagascar, keeper
staffs at Parc Ivoloina, radio collars, education center supplies,
etc. Then just click to make a simple and secure
donation or mail a check payable to Madagascar Fauna Group.
Funding
for Specific Items
You can also pick a specific project like raising money to be
applied to one of the items needed on the wish lists linked below.
Just pick out an item, e-mail us and let us know you're working
on it. When you mail in the check or donate
online, we'll use it to purchase the items you picked and
we'll even post your group's name and a photograph from your fundraiser
on the web site!

& Materials
What if you want to send supplies? This is tricky, because the
needs are specific and shipping costs to Madagascar are immense.
Nevertheless, there are things we need. If you can send us something
from the lists below, always e-mail
first. We will advise you if we still need what you are suggesting,
any pesky details about the items, and where to send them because
it's not always the address above.
